Overview

Percent is a cross-platform social review application that allows users to rate anything on a 0–100 scale. Built end-to-end in 90 days the project includes a production web application, a native iOS client, and a shared backend infrastructure.

The system supports authentication, entity discovery, relational taxonomy management, cross-client data synchronization, and App Store-compliant moderation tooling.

Scope & Architecture:

• Next.js web application deployed on Vercel

• Native SwiftUI iOS app (~17,800 lines of Swift)

• Shared Supabase backend with PostgreSQL + RPC functions

• Row-level security configuration and policy management

• Relational taxonomy system (categories, content types, genres)

• Authentication system (magic links, invite tokens)

• App Store moderation tooling (reporting, account deletion, TOS compliance)

• Cross-platform sync via structured APIs

• Production deployment pipelines + version control workflows

Impact:

• Successfully launched v1.0 to the public web and Apple App Store after 6 review rejections

• Built and deployed full-stack production system as a non-engineer founder
